Competition Events
We have now staged more than 100 competition events over the past
20 years, ranging from 2 hours to 3 days in duration and for groups
of 4 to 200 people.
Some of these were packed with action and adventure, others were
more cerebral and included reflective exercises to help participants
study the dynamics of their team from within. What they all had
in common is that their aim was to build relationships across (usually)
a large number of people in a relatively short time.
This style of event has worked well in bringing together diverse
departments from within a company, or teams representing member
companies within a trade federation or association.

CASE STUDY
|
|
Building a sense of unity across a huge organisation can be a challenge.
We ran a 3 day competition based on problem solving and adventure for 16 teams of 5 people, with each team comprising individuals from different regional offices.
Important relationships were built during the event and this has led to a marked increase in inter-regional support within the company.

Current Work
For 15 years we have provided an annual series of weekend competition
events for a national federation whose members are in the construction
world. Member companies are invited to enter teams of 4 people to
undertake a full weekend programme of intellectual, teamwork and
adventure challenges. The top scoring teams from the series of heats
are entered into a sponsored final every summer. This annual event
has helped our client build a healthy, vibrant atmosphere within
their industry, and for the companies taking part it is an opportunity
to build relationships within their team, too.
We would be delighted
to invite you along to observe our next competition event, or a
part of it if you prefer. Please contact us to arrange this or to
receive
more detailed information.
