Leaders in Action
In a great team, leadership actions are shared
around. After all, why should just one person have all the fun?
Creating
the
future
is exciting and motivating, so why not involve everyone?
An organisation’s leaders may be any one at any level.
What they have in common is that they want to bring about positive
change. They DO things that are insightful, timely, inclusive of
other people, and that make a difference in the right way.
Leaders are busy these days. The faster things change, the more
decisions there are to be made, from the strategic ones that give
the organisation its direction, to finding a new supplier for an
assembly part. More people are needed with the initiative, confidence,
and skills to join in the leadership. They need to be able to recognise
leadership situations, act at the right time, involve and motivate
those affected, unite a team, and communicate well with other parts
of the organisation.
Our
job is to help leaders develop these skills. Absolutely critical
to the success of our programme is to recognise the current strengths
and characteristic styles that people have that are working well
for them. The next step is to stretch and add to their abilities
in ways that feel right for them.

CASE STUDY
|
|
Our client in fashion retail asked us to help them achieve a major shift in thinking throughout the company.
'We want everyone at every level in the organisation to be taking initiatives, not just the nominated leaders'.
We delivered a series of experiential workshops in which participants felt for themselves the excitement of playing a part in creating the future for their business.
As a result, a number of new projects have sprung up which are now returning revenue, and several cost saving initiatives were put into action.
